No. STEP Beyond Borders does not offer orphanage volunteering programs in India, Nepal, or Armenia.

Frequent arrivals and departures of volunteers may create attachment and trust issues for children, and in some countries, orphanage tourism has contributed to the unnecessary institutionalization of children who have living family members.

Most programs are open to participants aged 18 and above. Selected opportunities are available for participants under 18 with parental consent and additional safeguarding measures. We had dedicated volunteers up to 83 years old but there is no age limitation as long as your wellbeing permits.
